Job Responsibilities:
 

  • Provide fleet-level technical assistance, assessments, and logistical support for U.S. Navy shipboard Command, Control, and Intelligence (C2I) systems, applying advanced mechanical and electrical expertise to ensure operational readiness.
  • Interpret and apply shipboard technical documentation to diagnose, repair, configure, and document equipment deficiencies, including reconfiguring systems within alternate structures to meet evolving mission requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with DoD and Navy cybersecurity and certification standards by sustaining required IAT Level I and Microsoft 365 (CE/OS) certifications, completing continuing education requirements, and adhering to SECNAVIST and DoD IA policies.

Requirements:
 

In order to meet the requirements of this position, a qualified candidate must have a combination of mechanical, and electrical disciplines as well as:
    1. Full time, hands-on experience in the accomplishment of Fleet Technical Assistance, Assessment and Logistical Support of U.S. Navy ships’ Command, Control and Intelligence Systems.
    2. Full time, hands-on experience in interpreting shipboard technical documents to assess, repair and document equipment deficiencies, and configure equipment in alternate structures to meet mission requirements.
    3. Must possess and submit proof of a current IAT Level I IA baseline certification (Cyber Security Workforce) per DoD 8570.01. Must maintain

IA certification and attain continuing education credits in accordance with SECNAVIST 1543.2. Must possess and submit proof of current CE/OS certificate (Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator).



Compensation for this role is governed by an applicable Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act.
