Thunderbolt Solutions is seeking to contingent hire for a C2 Architect support a future DOD Aerostat Program.

Job Description:
As a Thunderbolt Solutions employee, your role will focus on performing a variety of systems engineering and activities that are concerned with hardware/software integration, failure analysis, test and verification of electrical components of major Department of Defense systems.
Responsibilities include:
- C2 Architecture development to integrate sensors and payloads onto Aerostat system with existing and new Command and Control Platforms
- Responsible for integration oversight of Thunderbolt Products into current and future DOD platforms.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of professional technical experience in System and Subsystem Requirements analysis focusing on analysis, development, documentation and validation of Cyber Security Systems in the Aerospace/Defense and/or Commercial systems.
- Familiarity with Aerostat Systems.
- Exposure to requirements engineering and management of requirements using Rational Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML
- Modeling with Rational Rhapsody a plus
- Familiar with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence
- Education Req: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Excellent interpersonal skills as demonstrated by a record of influencing internal leadership and external customers on design decisions.
- Understanding of electronic, electrical, computer, and networking systems.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Other desired qualifications include:
- Knowledge of systems engineering development methodologies.
- Experience with airborne sensors and surveillance systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills as demonstrated by a record of influencing internal leadership and external customers on design decisions.
- Current U.S. DOD Secret Security Clearance.
